Matthew’s Stampazine, the source for stamp auction news.

I’m a writer who collects stamps—or have I got that backwards? Maybe I’m a stamp collector who writes.

In any case, I’ve decided to turn my habit of obsessively browsing stamp auctions and my enjoyment of writing about philately to good use by publishing a daily newsletter on the worldwide stamp-auction business. (It’s a pretty big business, valued in excess of $50m annually in sales.)

I try to post something related to stamp auctions just about everyday, and if you subscribe you’ll get full access to my email newsletter and website here on Substack. Most of my posts are about a five-minute read.

On Sundays I send out a schedule of auctions closing in the week ahead. On Saturdays I try to post a slightly longer article (10 minute read) exploring a particular item or subject in greater depth, highlighting online resources anyone can use to do their own philatelic research.
