I am enjoying what you’ve done so far, i find your articles informative, educational and entertaining. Don’t burn yourself out, I’d be happy with even a couple of articles per week in my inbox. Perhaps adding HipStamp Signature auctions in your notifications of upcoming auctions. They do a Signature auction once a month of better quality and valuable material.

Thanks for doing what you do to attract more people to this fascinating hobby!

Good idea about HipStamp, thanks! I see they’ve just announced a partnership with the APS StampStore, too, which is a fantastic idea.

Great job, Matthew. I agree with Peachland - you can slow down to avoid burnout. We'll still be happy with whatever great work you send along! I only entered into auction world for the first time in my life just before you started this project so it aligns perfectly with my current interests. And, absolutely take your auction knowledge and curiosity down different paths when it makes sense.

Thank you for the encouragement! It means a lot to me to know people are enjoying what I write. You can always leave me feedback on any post to let me know if there are specific subjects you'd like me to explore.

It’s a great newsletter. Agree that the current pace may be unsustainable. There are so many great new stamp stories here. It would be fun to have some of them independent of auction news. Well done!

Love your column in my inbox! 2-3 times a week would be a great next step IMO, and expanding your subject matter to widen your audience reach (while still taking your educational approach) would be great for getting new people into the industry and that sounds like a worthy mission. 🙏

Thanks for taking on this challenge. I agree with your statement concerning the number of collectors who utilize auctions. My experience has not been a good one. The competition is intense at times and one must be prepared with more cash than what I believe the average collector is willing to spend for stamps. I'd be happy to share more in depth if you care to reach out. I've been reading but signed up only today. I've been collecting more than 80 years. If you'd like to see what an "average" philatelist (by average I mean "not money bags") can do by buying and trading I'll send some images of my 1869 stamps. It's a great hobby. Collectors need educating about the possibilities. What you are doing is of great value if it can be distributed.
